American Legion Post 250
Annual Elections
Election Day
IN-PERSON Voting will be
Saturday, 04 May 2024,
10AM – 3PM.
All Candidates nominated for an Officer or Executive Board position must have on file a copy of their military eligibility document (DD-214) and current year’s American Legion Post 250 2024 membership card, prior to date of election or face disqualification.  This must be verified by the Post 250 Adjutant.
All members voting must have and

Post 250 Legion membership card
before voting.
NOTE: Absentee ballots are only available upon request and must be returned/received at Post 250 at least one (1) day prior to the scheduled election date. All absentee ballots will be counted at the same time as the Election Day ON-SITE ballots. If your absentee ballot is received on Saturday 04 May 2024, it will not be counted.
The DEADLINE for requesting an Absentee Ballot is Saturday (Date 27 April – One Week before In-Person Voting). This gives us time to mail out the requested Absentee Voting Ballots and return envelope. All Absentee Ballots will be verified by the Post 250 Adjutant. All members, in good standing, must present their valid current year’s membership card to be eligible to Vote.

Just being an American Legion Post 250 member is great, however, your talents are needed to help our Post 250 continue to grow in our efforts to support our Veterans and our Community. Our Community Youth Programs, Baseball, Boys Scouts, Cub Scouts, Boys State, JROTC, (just to name a few) Chairpersons are doing great work, however, need your help in supporting these programs. These Programs take time and money for the American Legion Post 250 to continue to support. Get involved with a Post 250 Program; you will feel good about it!
NOTE: The positions of Adjutant, Judge Advocate, and Veterans Service Officer are appointed positions by the American Legion Post 250 newly elected Commander for 2024-2025 year and will not be on the Ballot.
